LTWT 055: Walking with Grace and Conviction: Christians and the LGBTQ+ Community
Tuesday Mar 10, 2026
Tuesday Mar 10, 2026
“When [Jesus Christ] interacted with people whose lives did not align with God’s design, he showed both clarity and compassion. And compassion is huge.”
Join Heather Neault and Rev. Gary Martin in this episode as they tackle one of the toughest questions Christians face today: How should Christians interact with the LGBTQ+ community, whether it’s family members, neighbors, or coworkers? And how do we do this without compromising on the Word? This episode touches on topics like God’s desire for all mankind to be saved, how to extend compassion and refrain from judgment with others, what living God’s love in that manner does for them, maintaining boundaries, having integrity in living the Word in our own lives, and so much more. With this topic so prevalent in our society today, this is an important conversation—one rich with God’s love and goodness—that you won’t want to miss.

This is so true. I know someone who is homosexual and I have seen God truly move in this persons life because I have shown love instead of hatred towards this person. We have had conversations about what God’s Words and the Love that God has towards us. For we have all sinned and came short of the Grace of God. God calls us to love. A person won’t listen to us about what God says if we are mean or judgmental towards them. There are so many scriptures that we can go to in regards to this topic. The greatest example for anyone living in sin is Love.

Im very disappointed in this podcast. Not once did i hear them goto the word where God says what he thinks about his subject. Instead what I heard was a whole lot of sombodys experiences and their oppinions on how they handle the 1:32 in Gods word tells us clearly what he thinks about this subject. Rom v 30 say that they are Backbiters, haters of God etc etc. go read this chapter please!!! now we can approach this from Gods point of veiw and not mine or your’s we love those who want help but we help by showing people the truth!

I really appreciate this podcast because I have been dealing with this the way the podcast says. But I wasn’t sure that was right. I know that we are to love unconditionally, so that guided my heart. Thank you so much for the tru
